A unique and versatile antique old mine cut diamond bracelet that is perfect to dress up or down!

I love this one for its comfort. All the old mine cut diamonds, 9 in all, are set in bezels making them comfortable to wear. Totaling around 2.35 carats with milgrain detail on the bezels, the perfect period appropriate touch. The diamonds cover the top of the wrist, leading to panels of linear, paperclip style links that are hinged on each end to connect to the next link and curve around the wrist.

I purchased this one in Spain on my last inventory trip. It is crafted in 18k gold and the tops of the bullseye / halo settings are topped in a white precious metal, (I believe platinum, if not then it's 18k white gold, I didn't want to scratch test or scuff them.). The white metal halos serve as an illusion setting to make the diamonds appear larger on the wrist.

The bracelet has an invisible clasp with a safety catch and a safety chain.

There is a mark on the tongue of the clasp but I can't make it out so I don't see any gold hallmarks but sold to me as 18k gold which was the norm there and tested to confirm.

Any props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Weight is 8.6grams.
It's about 6.5 inches long, I can't stretch it end to end with the safety chain but that is measuring the inside circumference. I have a 5.5 inch wrist and I could wear it higher up on the arm or in a stack as it doesn't come off without opening it, but it could fit a larger wrist even better.

The largest center diamond is 5.8mm and around .8 carat alone, and the other two are about 5mm each, around .45 and .5 carat with their slightly varying depth. The smaller diamonds are 3.6 and 2.5mm each. I would not remove the stones for exact carat weight but estimates to around 2.35 carats.

The linear links are 13mm by 2.1mm wide.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The largest center diamond is a crystal clear / eye clean chunky old mine cut with strong Kozibe effect. For the other large stones, one has a carbon speck that is slightly eye visible (not to my eyes however! : ) and the other has a crystal pocket and some speck inclusions that can reflect a bit of frost around but is not glaring. The smaller stones also have some crystal specks and one has a crystal and carbon smattering along half the stone but it is small so again nothing glaring. Slightly varying warm hues typical for the period that can face up whiter in some light, all things typical for an original antique with antique stones. One of the smallest diamonds is a single cut but it is an open culet old mine single cut so it appears to be original to the piece and just a case where the jeweler used what was available to them as the best fit.

The tongue insert is a bit on the soft side where it doesn't have a super strong click but there's no worries with the addition of the safety clasp and the safety chain, it can't be lost.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

There are no dark spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it reflects its surroundings.

I enjoy making my customers happy and matching unique pieces with new homes. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
