Enamel Antique FRENCH Lucky Number # 13 Pendant 18k Gold Belle Epoque Medal Blue White Thirteen Amulet

Did you know?
13 was traditionally considered a lucky number in France prior to World War I, and was used in numerical form as a good luck symbol during the Victorian to Art Nouveau period.

This one is a fun geometrical version with a pop of color. The circular pendant is open work, with white enamel in the 1 and blue enamel in the 3. The back side is engraved.

Found in France with their hallmark for 18k.

Any props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

MEASUREMENTS:
17mm to the top of the attached loop (not including the dangling jump ring) by 14mm wide. It weighs 0.7 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Some loss to the blue enamel. Please note its measurements and weight as it is thinner gold work.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
