An elegant and pretty antique wedding band or skinny stacker ring in 14k gold. We also know the maker for this one - JR Wood \u0026amp; Sons jewelry company, who were trend setters in the Victorian era and onward especially for wedding jewelry. The company was founded in the 1850s, and were the first to develop seamless, soldered eternity rings in the late 1800s. They made some of the best jewelry on the market in New York during that time. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlways wonderful to have the added provenance of a known maker and an antique period hallmark which has the Wood trademark and 14k. It's yellow gold with a lovely, slightly warm hue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one has a nice and sturdy hand feel and is unisex in its size and design. It has little engraved details to add texture to the piece and a coin edge on the north and south sides. It has a nice thickness so it wears almost as a donut but has the flatter comfort fit inside.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAntique box is not included.
