ABOUT:
Beautiful French Belle Epoque pendant with a woman's profile surrounded by oak leaves and acorns set with rose cut diamonds for sparkle. At the top is an animals face with open mouth - a lion or a snake or some sort of gargoyle? Interesting Art Nouveau design.
This was an antique brooch with the pin parts removed and a loop and jump ring added converting it to a pendant.
Delicious buttery patina with rich rosy highlights to the 18k gold - it has the legible and very interesting design.
No hallmarks remain as it would have been marked on the pin parts.
Antique box is not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
27mm in diameter. It weighs 3.1 Grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Typical rough cut rose cut diamonds have an almost gray hue but with a lovely little glitter when they catch the light. Nice rich antique patina and design, the colors of the antique gold are so pretty! Some surface scratches, wear, a small bend or ripple here or there to the back filigree edge not visible when wearing.
But my disclaimer with all my estate pieces - due to age, please note this piece is not in mint condition.
