Victorian Antique .9 Carat Rose Old Mine Cut DIAMOND Linear Cluster Ring French 18k Gold Double Band

This rosy 18k gold old cut diamond ring has such an interesting dimension, with linear details, a mixed of old cut diamonds and a multi banded ring face. A fun and unique setting, this French Victorian era piece has three old mine cut diamonds rated at the center, and little rose cut diamonds set into the double bands and shoulders of the ring face. Total weight in diamonds is around .9 carat. These are set in glowing rosy 18k gold.

Nice finger coverage, wonderful sparkle, and it also provides a texture the way the diamonds are set in three different "levels".

Found in Paris, the delicious glowing gold work is a beautiful accompaniment to the sparkle. The multi banded ring face combines at the back to make the triple banded shank.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

HALLMARKS:
French hallmarks for 18k gold.

MEASUREMENTS:
Currently measures a size 6 1/2. It weighs a sturdy 4.2 grams. Ring face is 16mm north south and stands 4.5mm tall off the finger.

The center old mine cut diamond is 3.7mm and the other two are about 3mm each. The sixteen rose cuts measure 1.3 to 2mm each. I would not remove the stones for an exact measurement but estimating - Total diamond weight of at least 0.9 carat.

CONDITION NOTES:
I just now noticed it needs a better cleaning after having taken the pics. Whoopsie! So that would brighten up some of the frostiness that you see in the photos.

Typical antique diamonds with faint frosty and speck inclusions that are slightly eye visible. No dark carbon spots and a nice bright color and sparkle. Also common for the antique rose cut diamonds, they can read a little frosty, it's just hard to reach the small openings behind them to perfectly clean them but they add a nice glint of sparkle. As expected for a piece of this age in original condition, a worn prong here and there. I always recommend gentler wear on all my antique rings with multiple smaller stones.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
