ABOUT:
Another ever popular daisy cluster ring set with eight old mine cut diamonds, the center stone being slightly larger and raised in prongs. Beautiful sparkle, fun to wear alone or in a stack. I got this piece in England. It is stamped 18CT for 18k gold inside the shank.
What's also great about this one is that the prongs are in excellent shape making this beauty ready for regular wear. One of the diamonds is a brilliant cut and must be a replacement.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It is a size 6 3/4. It weighs 3.1 grams.
The ring face is 9.2mm north south. It stands 5.2mm tall off the finger.
The center diamond is a nice chunky cut, about 3.3mm in diameter / .16 Carat. The others are about 2.7mm give or take, and also with some high crowns.
I would not remove them for exact measurements but just using estimates it is around 3/4 carat total weight in diamonds.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All my pieces are pre-owned. Typical antique diamonds with some faint natural inclusions seen only under strong magnification. To the eye and for antique stones they have a nice clarity. Some nibbles and nicks to the girdle edges again not really eye visible with normal wear, seen more with a loupe. As mentioned one diamond is a brilliant cut replacement. It's not a super glaring difference but something to look for in pics. No dark carbon specks, chips or cracks.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
