ABOUT:
Beautiful color and sparkle to this three stone stacker. Glowing natural emerald at the center that is square cut, flanked by an old mine cut diamond on each side. The prongs are in silver, so pretty alone or with other pieces as it provides the glitter of the diamonds and that beautiful green.
Antique box is not included.
Antique stamp inside 18CT for 18k Gold.
The emerald has natural inclusions and the surface has abrasions so the facets have a softened matte finish but still a wonderful glow and color. It also has a tiny chip with flake of loss again under magnification, as to the eye it appears square / complete. One of the diamonds is nicked, seen only under magnification. No glaring inclusions. One of the diamonds lists a bit to the side in the prongs because one prong is worn but the others surround it and hold it securely. Some patina.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 8 1/4. Emerald is about 4.5mm square. Each diamond is about 3mm. The piece weighs 2.1g.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
