Elegant antique button earrings with a half sphere / ball design with flat back connected to a sturdy latch and ear wire. Relevant and modern design but still a great antique look as well. These are in nice condition with firm hinges, beautiful shine and form, and a lovely rosy patina to the antique gold.

Would be a beautiful something old for a bride. But they are also versatile enough for regular wear.

Any boxes or props used for staging are not included.

French hallmarks for 14k gold and another 14k hallmark I could not identify. I think perhaps they were made elsewhere in Europe and imported to France for the French market.

They measure about 18mm from the ear wire at the top to the bottom of the setting, which is 10mm wide. They are 12mm deep from top of the domed ball to back of the hinge. Combined weight is 2.4g.

Warmth to the white gems from build up behind the long bezels, just hard to reach behind the stone. Antique patina which most of my buyers prefer when it comes to original condition antiques. The hinges are very strong and springy, however one seems to miss the ear wire and overlap with it at times so you have to guide it in. Even still they overlap creating a flat back and closure as you see in the pictures so they are secure to wear as the hinge stays firmly in the closed position which would keep them from coming free from the ear. One tiny shallowest impression and some surface wear notable due to the highly mirrored finish. There are no dark spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny and mirrored that it reflects its surroundings.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
