BIRDS Gorgeous Engraved 3g 22k GOLD Solid Four Beveled Panel Slide Pendant Charm Holder 3D Ornate Rectangular 3D

Gorgeous and unique pendant with four ornately hand engraved panels each depicting a bird on each amidst swirling details. The top domes upward where each panel makes the piece appear beveled.

Nice and sturdy, glowing high carat gold with rich antique patina. No hallmarks, it was sold to me in England as "high carat gold" and it held a 22k test for me.

It can be worn a few different ways. It has a large opening between the front and the back where you can run the chain right through. Then you could use the little attached loop to add an additional charm to the bottom of the piece if desired, like a small initial or a diamond dangle, etc. Otherwise, it can be flipped and you can use the little loop to hang it from a chain (note the small size, it may need a larger jump ring in that case.). You could also run a simple ribbon through it and wear it as an awesome choker right against the neck.

Interested 3D presence on the decollette with the bevels catching the light.

Antique box and additional slides, pendants, chains, etc. not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos where I am required to show zoomed in photos for detail. That is one reason I include a group shot to hopefully help show scale : ).

No hallmarks.

MEASUREMENTS:
20mm end to end including the loop by 16mm diameter by 7.5mm deep. Weight is a little over 3g.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Sturdy piece. No dings or dents or repairs. Some orange residue that looks like very very old adhesive from someone having connected it to something before (perhaps a ribbon was run through it or something?). It did clean up some with a gentle cleaning, I didn't want to take any sharp tools to it or try to score it away for fear of scratching the ornate designs, it is not very noticeable.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
