Wonderful French antique bar pin or brooch with a little fly set with a red paste ruby and seed pearls. The piece has both rich, buttery yellow gold and rosy gold areas with a lovely patina from age.
I have seen these used as hair pins with hair worn up - fun figural piece from the Victorian to Belle Epoque era.
Antique box used for staging is not included.
French hallmarks for 18k gold on the pin back and the catch.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
33mm in length. The little fly is 9mm. It weighs 1.2g.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. There is darker solder material visible on the back side of the flu bit this is not visible when wearing. But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition and it is being sold As Is at this price point.
