ABOUT:
Fabulous and useful layering chain - this vintage to Art Deco era pieces ornate alternating dainty links in rose gold with oval yellow gold wire separators and a triangle at the bottom. This leads down to a further link of chain with a spring at the end to be able to swap out pendants. Makes a great layering chain with a nice long length and beautiful two tone coloring to the 14k gold. The antique dealer I purchased it from thought it from the 1930s to 1940s.
It's beautiful worn alone but the little pendant holder addition makes it a Y chain that is super useful for a great neckmess. Love this one!
Both spring rings are the older style and are stamped 14k.
Pendants shown in photos are not included but listed separately. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 3.2g. Stretched end to end it's 26 inches. And then from the triangle part down, the dangle with the spring ring is 3 inches long. Beautiful dainty gauge to the chain at 1.3mm width.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
