DATED 1919 ANTIQUE 18k Gold Comfort Fit French Wedding RING 2.6mm Wide Band Hand Engraved French Belle Epoque January 11

Back from my spring inventory trips to Europe with plenty of unique antiques, hand picked one at a time for you!

ABOUT:
A gorgeous, glowing antique wedding band with hand engraved personalization inside:
"Muriel Simon 11 Janvier 1919"
Not sure on the spelling of the first name as the engraving is worn but certainly the names of the couple with the date in French for January 11, 1919.

Elegant worn alone, a great stacker band or "something old." Comfort fit form feels wonderful to wear.

Found in France. No hallmarks remain which is actually common for French pieces as they are marked in the back and often lost during a sizing or from wear. But sold to me from a reputable source in France where the standard is 18k and tested to confirm.

Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

Size: 6 1/4 - slightly over
Weight: 2.8g
north south measurement: 2.7mm
depth / Height off the finger: 1.5mm

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Surface wear as expected. Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description. There are no dark or discolored spots to the gold, sometimes it reflects its surroundings.

A very faint difference in hue at what appears to be a seam from fabrication or sizing.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
