ABOUT:
I absolutely love these French antique month medals / pendants. I was even able to find one for my PC of my month during my trip, and from there have started collecting other months just to wear throughout the year. Jewelry with words is so fun!
Interesting reticulated design with the French "DECEMBRE" for December along the bottom, a blue paste stone in the center and mistletoe designs. This would also be fun to wear to holiday parties. Yellow gold with nice antique patina with green gold contrasting the leaves.
Chain in photos is not included. Some patina, some ripples across the top text but overall very legible and wearable. The loop is worn thin from age but still holds. A few nibbles to the stone under magnification.
MEASUREMENTS:
The piece measures 20mm wide by 24mm tall to the top of the attached loop. It weighs 1.3 grams. So it does have a delicate hand feel with thinner gold work.
MARKS:
Marked with the French hallmark for 18k gold on the loop.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, small nicks. They also may have some build up and some imperfections and other age related wear, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any glaring issues above and they are all still functioning and wearable. For pieces with more patina, this can often be cleaned up / polished by the buyer but most of my customers prefer original patina so I sell them as is.
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
