I am back from my inventory trips to Europe and listing an assortment of hand picked antique jewelry which I have selected one at a time from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:

Classic three stone old mine cut diamond ring in 18k gold. It is set with the old mine cut diamonds. Layers well with other pieces.

British in origin but the antique stamps have worn. Tests at 18k gold. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from the pics.

Antique boxes, props, staircases and bannisters ; ) not included.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 8. Ring face is 4mm north south and 4mm tall of the finger. It weighs 1.8 grams.

Exact depths of the diamonds and thereby exact carat weight is unknown / approximate as I would not remove them but the center diamond is about 3.5mm with the flanking diamonds a little over 2.5mm each.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

This one has worn prongs from age so while the stones are still held, this one needs gentle wear or a discussion with your jeweler to re-tip it here or there. Selling it as is at this price point as I would price it significantly higher if it was a daily wear piece. If the buyer does desire to have it reinforced it is always good to ask the local jeweler about cost and typically request they do the minimum necessary (vs. overworking the piece to make it "like new as plenty of the prongs show wear but are still well able to do the job and wouldn't need reinforcing for another 100 years.) Typical antique diamonds with some faint natural inclusions seen mostly under magnification and only slightly eye visible (not to my eyes which are in their 40s! : ). No dark carbon spots. The diamonds have a nice bright white color and a nice fire even as I study it in ambient light.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

I would be delighted if you'd follow me in my shop. Thanks for stopping by!
