ABOUT:
Wonderful French antique natural emerald and rose cut diamond pendant. This nice sized oval pendant has three natural emeralds down the center, two of which are trapezoid shaped. These are surrounded by a halo of rose cut diamonds with two additional on the bale for 18 diamonds in all.
Fun to wear, and quite unique. So sparkly and beautiful with the bright pop of green.
Antique box not included.
HALLMARKS:
French hallmarks for 18k gold.
MEASUREMENTS:
24mm to the top of the loop by 11mm wide. Each rose cut diamond is about 1.5mm give or take. The center emerald is 4mm square and it weighs 3 grams.
CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition, especially considering age. Typical antique diamonds with a few nicks and frosty spots seen under magnification. Some natural inclusions but none dark or eye visible. Some of the diamonds have a small chip or flake of loss but much of the frostiness seen was always that way from the old cutting methods. What you would expect to see on antique diamonds if you study them with a loupe. Surface wear and scratches. Some nnatural inclusions to the emeralds that are eye visible. A few nicks but a nice sheen, what you see in picks is not a matte finish from wear but the natural inclusions. Worn prong here and there to keep an eye on. Having said that, none of the stones weeble or wobble in the least.
But of course due to age - Please note this piece is not in mint condition.
