Oh those clever Victorians and their wonderful, whimsical figural jewelry! Thank heavens for them!
Fun and whimsical French antique Victorian tiny pendant or charm crafted in 18k gold. It has a raised design of what looks like a devil or gargoyle with pointed ears and a beard. It may also represent a faun, pan, green man or north wind man character - but such a great look. This came to me as a broken cufflink and I had a little loop added. It's been in my personal collection for awhile now.
Hallmark was lost on the broken cufflink which was stamped on the arm. But both the piece and the ring are 18k gold.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Some of my buyers "draw out" an example to get an idea of scale in person.

MEASUREMENTS:
12x7.3mm. It weighs just 0.55g. It is tiny.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Hollow fabrication, there are small holes to the back from where the cufflink portion was removed. Front / top side is pretty perfect. Note the small attached loop, a small jump ring would likely need to be added depending on your preferences. I have one in gold fill I can add if you'd like to message me.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
