ABOUT:
Five stone ring in a lovely 15k gold set with 5 creamy pearls in graduating sizes. Great stacker and minimalist statement worn alone.
Found in England, the hallmarks were lost from a sizing except for the old maker's mark. Sold to me as 15k and tested to confirm (it held strong a 14k test). Slightly rosy hues from antique patina, it is beautiful.
Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5, a little over. It weighs 2.9 grams. It is 4.5mm north south and stands 4.5mm tall off the finger.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The prongs are quite worn due to age. Two of the pearls move in their settings but they are all still secure. Would need gentle wear or reinforcing, sold as is. The pearls are in very nice condition with a lovely lustre and creamy white color, no wear to the layers, just a tiny bit of crazing seen only under very strong lit magnification.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any glaring issues above and they are all still wearable.
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
