Beautiful floral pendant set with flat cut garnets in foil back settings to really glow and reflect the light from within. The pendant is from the Georgian period with closed back set in rosy 9k gold, with antique hallmark on the back (9CT). The chain is later, a shimmering yellow gold stamped 14k Italy. The patinas don't quite match but they are still beautiful together and came this way when I acquired them in Europe so I thought I'd sell them as such.
MEASUREMENTS: The chain is almost 18 inches in length. The flower pendant is 40x26mm not including the jump ring. The pendant and chain weigh 3.35 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES: Some nicks to a few of the stones. One has adhesive residue around it seen under magnification. I am seeing now as I study it that it has quite a bit of buildup so I will give it a better wipe down but these closed back pieces should not get wet or be submerged to clean. Some varying hues from age to the foil back, a few spots under lit magnification but a beautiful piece with glowing red color.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : ) But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
