ABOUT:
I love antique navettes and this one is lovely with the scalloped outline to the ring face and the glittery cluster of old cut diamonds. It's fun to view from the side to see some of the high crowns popping out. Crafted in a rich, warm 18k yellow gold with slightly rosy highlights from age to the gold which is beautiful. There are linear details at the shoulders and an openwork lattice gallery under the ring face. Most of the diamonds are old mine cuts with three of them being transitional cut, not a super noticeable difference unless you are studying the stones closely and it sparkles beautifully.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It is a size 5 3/4. It weighs 3.4 grams.
The ring face is 19mm north south by 9mm east west. It stands 5mm tall off the finger.
Most of the diamonds are 2.5 to 2.7mm each with a few smaller at 2 to 2.3mm
I would not remove them for exact measurements but just using estimates it is around 1 carat total weight in diamonds with some of the diamonds having nice high crowns.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Wonderful coloring and patina. Typical antique diamonds with some faint natural inclusions, specks and frosty spots seen mostly under magnification but no dark or glaring carbon spots. Also typical for antique stones, some stones read a bit warmer than others, this is also partly due to some of the old mine cuts having larger, chunkier facets which reflect the light differently. Love the character of antique diamonds! One diamond has a nick and two are chipped with shallow flakes of loss to some of the side facets. I t still appears complete / round to the eye and fills the circular bezel so the diamond doesn't look cracked, but if you study the surface closely you can see that it is a more frosty / unpolished area on one part of those two stones. All the diamonds are secure but some wear to a bezel or prong here or there to keep an eye on over time, as expected for a piece of this age.
