ABOUT:
Antique rosary ring in rich 18k gold with blue enamel face and lovely detailed gold work halo. The image is a scene of the cross, the design like something you would see worn in an old period piece movie about the Victorian era. The rivets are intentional to the Rosary / Hail Marys so the wearer could run their finger along them while praying or meditating. That was its historical purpose but the ball rivets give it a great, relevant design for any wearer. Makes a striking and unique stacker with a great antique appearance.
This French antique piece from the Victorian era is one I purchased in Paris. French hallmarks for 18k with goldsmith stamp.
Antique box is not included. Listing is for the one ring with the others in the stack shown for color comparison and scale.
Really nice condition considering age, the enamel is complete and legible.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 9 . It weighs 1.5 grams. The large ring face is 8x11mm.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable.
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
