ABOUT:
Beautiful French antique geometric ring with large center rectangular pink ruby (likely synthetic which was a popular choice for the time and judging by its color and clarity). The piece is accented with 10 little roes cut diamonds and my favorite parts are the engraved swirling designs on the vertical edges of the ring face and shank providing interest from all angles. Really wonderful detail, sparkle and coloring.
HALLMARKS:
No hallmarks remain which is common for French pieces as they are marked in the back and often lost during a sizing. But sold to me from a reputable source in France where the standard is 18k and tested to confirm.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 8 1/2. The ring face is 14x6mm and 4.5mm deep / tall of the finger. Weight is 3.4g.
Some nicks / abrasions to the stones seen mostly under magnification. Lovely sheen and polish overall.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, small nicks. They also may have some build up and some imperfections and other age related wear, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any glaring issues above and they are all still functioning and wearable. For pieces with more patina, this can often be cleaned up / polished by the buyer but most of my customers prefer original patina so I sell them as is.
