ABOUT:
Very lovely French 1800s Victorian rosary ring in 18k gold with an oval lozenge face highlighted in cobalt blue enamel with a gold cross at the center.
The shank has raised rivets around all sides giving it an almost medieval look like something you would see in a period piece movie. The 10 rivets are intentional to the Rosary / Hail Marys so the wearer could run their finger along them while praying and meditating. Makes a striking and unique stacker with a great antique appearance.
Antique Box not included.
HALLMARKS:
Shank is stamped with the French hallmark for 18k Gold.
MEASUREMENTS:
Ring is a size 6. The ring face is 9.5mm top to bottom. Weighs 2.05 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are in estate condition. There are nicks with loss to the enamel down at the bottom edge, one flake is lost all the way to the gold underneath so please look for that in photos but still a striking and legible design. I wish I knew the stories the piece could tell and feel drawn to the person who lovingly used it. Some surface wear but Still perfectly shaped and still legible with rich buttery patina.
But of course due to age - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition.
