ABOUT:
Another one right up my alley - a great stackable band with the pop of red color from the cabochon red garnets alternating with figural leaves. The leaves look like rose leaves to me. This warm rosy 14k gold cigar eternity band is crisply detailed all the way around. Uncommon design, the reticulated cutouts and red garnets make the engraved leaf designs really pop. In my opinion / personal preference quite special. Very striking alone and also layers so beautifully to add a texture and elegance to a ring stack.
Stamped 14k inside.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and the pictures can make it difficult to see scale.
Antique box is not included.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6, a little over. It is 8.5mm north to south on the finger and 2.3mm thick at the highest areas where the stones come up.
The piece weighs a sturdy 4.95g.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
One garnet is cracked but both halves still held in the bezel, another has a chip, and they all have abrasions. Much of this should be expected for a piece of this age and fabrication where the stones are raised and eternity bands make contact with surfaces being detailed inside the hand / palm side as well as top. They all appear complete / round, a beautiful glowing red to the eye.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
