ABOUT:

Beautiful Georgian era pendant on chain with ten rose cut diamonds in silver collets leading down to the little pearl dangle. I love the 3D design of the pearl portion, how the top is completely encrusted with 28 additional rose cut diamonds coating the petal and leaf details that drape down - it sparkles from all sides! They even have small little rose cuts hidden behind the leaf details, almost invisible but again providing that complete gem studded sparkle as the drop spins.

Very well constructed as the top part of the pendant is made with four parts connected by loops so they can move independently to catch the light. Typical fabrication for the period where the diamonds are set in silver as was customary to set diamonds in a white metal. The back of the pendant and the connecting loops are in rose gold and it comes as pictured on an 18k white gold chain with French hallmarks (the chain is later than the pendant.) No hallmarks on the pendant which is common for pieces from this period.

This would be a beautiful something old for a bride and is also versatile enough for regular wear. Very romantic design.

MEASUREMENTS:

The entire pendant dangles 46mm and is 12mm wide, the pearl is 7.5mm, combined weight of the chain and pendant is 7.5g.
The chain 17.5 inches in length, with an additional loop towards the back to size down and wear it four inches shorter if desired.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition.
Typical rose cuts, warm from age to back, along with some natural frosty inclusions. These were rough cut by hand so they have some irregular edges and cuts. One of the diamonds is chipped at the top but still complete to the eye. Some patina but most of my buyers prefer this. It wears beautifully.
