Back from my spring inventory trips to Europe with many antique treasures, hand picked one at a time. Many more coming soon - thanks for stopping by! : )

ABOUT:

Today I am listing an assortment of little charms and pendants! All antique Victorian era - these would be a great addition to a neckmess / neckstack or a charm bracelet, or a dainty minimalist vibe worn alone. Some are quite petite (please note the measurements!) Some are components from a pin or another piece that I acquired as a little antique part or finding, and I had a loop added to make it wearable. I never scrap antique jewelry , even if it is imperfect or incomplete, and with the little loop, it can now be worn and enjoyed for another 100 years!

Gorgeous garnet and rose cut diamond halo pendant with deeply domed cabochon garnet and a scalloped outline holding the rose cuts. Found in France, crafted in 18k gold and silver. It appears to have been a pin but when it was converted, they preserved the hallmarks. The garnet has a deep crimson color with the most wonderful red glow from within. And it is quite a chunk. Accented by the glittering rose cuts.

I have some rings and a pair of earrings these would pair lovely with.

As seen in the photos, the jump rings can be somewhat small, something to note depending on your chain size, or the buyer can add an additional larger jump ring. My favorite way to swap these out is clipped to a dog clip / clasp - I have a few dog clip / clasps listed separately in the shop and they work well to add to a chain and add multiple charms or mix and match charms with just the clasp instead of having to run them on a chain each time.

Listing is for the one item in the cover photo, while the group shot helps to show scale and shows some of the other pieces I have available.

Antique props, chain, etc. not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it is difficult to show scale in the photos.

MEASUREMENTS:
Weight: 2.4g
Height: 18mm
(This measurement is top to bottom including the attached loop)
The garnet is 8mm diameter and a chunky 6mm deep.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Solder visible where the pin post was looped and secured and some of the pin part remains inside.
The garnet is secured with a rim of adhesive around the back that has discolored to a warm yellow from age. It is not visible while wearing and the stone is secure but I don't see any prongs ever having existed so it needs gentle wear. Similarly one diamond has a tiny seam of adhesive visible when you study it under lit magnification as it was secured from the back so most of it is not seen but I wanted to mention it. To the eye it wears beautifully, but just those fortifications to note when you study the piece, and due to this, it needs gentler wear as it is not as sturdy as prongs would be. Still wearable and pendants are by nature more gently worn but I probably wouldn't wear it adjacent to other chunky gold pieces that might knock against or jar it.

Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
