I LOVE You Je T'Aime French Text Italian Vintage 18k Gold Wide Band Ring Stacker Ribbed Cigar

While the text is in French, this vintage wide cigar band ring is Italian in origin (according to the hallmarks) with ribbed edges and a two-tone texture. The piece is in shiny gold but at the center is a matte finish texture providing the background for the text: "Je T'Aime" which is of course French for "I love you."

This one just glows with the text design subtle but quite legible. It's a fun one! Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

Italy hallmarks for 18k gold including the numerical 750 stamp (which indicates 18k) both inside the ring face and outside the shank.

Antique box not included.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

It is a size 5 1/2. It weighs just 1.3grams so note that it does have a lightweight hand feel and is not overly thick, however it does not flex when you squeeze it at all, the ribbed edges help provide at least some sturdiness.

The ring face is 9.5mm wide north to the south on the finger tapering to 4.5mm at the back. And it stands 1mm thick / tall off the finger.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

There is a shallow impression on one side in the smooth area, the letter E at the far right edge is a bit faint from rubbing against the adjacent finger. It looks like it had been sized as there is a seam and some unevenness to the gold at the back of the shank, not visible when wearing. I noticed the hallmark tag inside the ring face is felt against the finger when sliding it.

There are no dark or green spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny and mirrored that it reflects its surroundings including the trees outside the window : ).

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
