ABOUT:

Flashy and fun cocktail ring set with 5 diamonds totaling about half a carat in various older cuts and alternating leaf and heart shapes. Great geometric look with the center diamond in a square bezel and the flanking diamonds in round. The leaves have illusion setting texture to add sparkle. This piece is in 14k white gold with the ring face measuring about 16mm in diameter - I love the open work domed platform. I got this in an antique shop in a small town outside of Atlanta during a recent inventory trip.

HALLMARKS:
Stamped 14k inside.

EVALUATION, SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 8 1/4, the ring face stands 5.3mm off the finger. It weighs 3.9g. The place I purchased it from had had the piece professionally evaluated and told me the diamonds were SI1-SI2 in clarity and H-I in color. They gave it a combined weight of approximately .5ctw with a mix of old cut and round brilliant diamonds.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. The center diamond has a chip to one of the side facets leading up to the table, seen only under magnification. It is not visible to the eye. Typical older diamonds - the two diamonds flanking the center have a warmer hue under magnification and one has a few inclusions giving it some cloudy areas under magnification. These things are not really visible to the eye so it wear beautifully with a nice size footprint and lovely color and sparkle. Fun and eye catching piece! But Due to age - please note this is not a mint condition item.
