ABOUT:
Excellent color and design to this linear antique ring with square carre cut rubies channel set in the center with a line of rose cut diamonds above and below. I love the geometric look. Really nice sparkle. I assume due to the color and clarity of the rubies, they are synthetic, a popular choice for the period.
Antique box is not included.
Typical antique diamonds with the faintest tiny inclusions and some rough edges, but no dark or eye visible inclusions at all. One corner of one ruby is chipped a tiny bit, this is barely visible to the eye and only if you are looking for it and have good eyes. : ) Lovely patina.
HALLMARKS:
No hallmarks remain but sold to me as 18k which is the standard in France and tested to confirm.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 7. Ring face is 9x13mm, the rose cuts are each about 2mm. It weighs 2.4 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any glaring issues above and they are all still wearable.
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
