ABOUT:

Striking natural Pink Tourmaline ring in 14k white gold with a halo old mine cut diamonds. I love the color and glow of the center stone and the striking square face set with chunky old mine cuts makes this one a fav for me. A unique combination and shape with a wonderful sparkle. Sturdy hand feel and around .8 carat total weight in diamonds.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

Partial 14k stamp inside the shank at one shoulder, it is not very legible even with a loupe.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

It's a size 4 1/4 on my ring sizer mandrel. It weighs 3.9grams. The ring face is 12.5mm square and stands 5.5mm off the finger. The tourmaline is about 6.5mm north south and the diamonds are each about 3.6 to 3.8mm. I would not remove them from the setting for an exact carat weight so each one's depth is unknown, but using estimates by millimeter is it around .8 carat total weight in diamonds.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The tourmaline has abrasions and deeper scratches across the table. You may want to discuss feedback on polishing with your local jeweler - sometimes they can be improved by a bench polishing, or even removed to polish and reset, but best to check with the person doing the work. Typical antique diamonds may have some faint inclusions but they look pretty great to me, even under strong magnification with no chips or nicks or dark carbon spots. A nice brightness and sparkle.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

Thanks so much for looking at my items!
