Sparkly French vintage navette ring in 18k yellow gold with three larger antique old mind cuts in a line down the center with a halo of smaller brilliant cuts around the outside edge of the navette ring face.

Fun to see a mix of diamonds and cuts on one piece, they total around 1 full carat. The old hand cut old mine cut diamonds are nice and bright white in color fortunately, so they really blend with the modern diamonds surrounding them but with chunkier cuts and that highly sought after antique sparkle. We often see warmer hues, which are also beautiful, in our antique diamonds, but these blend in color with the modern diamonds quite nicely!

Clearly a custom, one of a kind piece - I wonder if the owner used ancestral / family antique diamonds to create the piece in the modern era with the brilliants added.

This is a great one for yellow gold lovers, as we most often see antique navettes and clusters from the period topped in platinum as was customary for fabrication at that time. This one is all yellow gold but still with the charm of the chunky old mine cuts at center. I got this one in Paris. Two hallmarks on the back, one is the French 18k gold stamp.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

Size 6 1/4. The ring face is 21x9mm and stands 5mm off the finger. It weighs 5.1g.

Exact depths vary and I would not remove them from the setting to get exact measurements but around 1 carat estimated total weight in old cut diamonds. The center three old mine cut diamonds are each about 3-3.5mm, and ten brilliant cut diamonds are around 2-2.4mm with four smaller stones measuring about 1.7mm, intentionally smaller for setting them second from the end stones. All totaling around 1 Carat.

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition.
The center stone sits a little lower in the setting and has a less high crown than the other two. The center diamond also has a natural inclusion that carries up to the surface leaving a crease at the side facets. The other two old mines are eye clean with no damage.

Some worn prongs here and there to keep an eye on over time. Some of the diamonds shift and move slightly, but have bead prongs that are still holding them securely.

The back of the sink is strangely worn with an almost textured crinkled finish to the back half of the shank. This is not visible while wearing, but something to look for in pictures, it is not the normal surface where that we usually see, but a deeper texture, I'm not sure what from.

But Due to age - please note this is not a mint condition item.
