Current Fav! Amazing gold work on this one - Perfectly stackable sturdy and chunky antique three stone gypsy band ring with center ruby flanked by sparkling old mine cut diamonds, one on each side. The laurel and roses floral embossed designs give this heavy and beautifully made gold ring eye catching interest from all angles. Nice sized diamonds with the two larger old mine cuts measuring over .2 carat each. I suspect the pink ruby may be synthetic as it was a popular choice for the period but it is not glass and tests as a ruby. A lot of thick, buttery 18k gold used in the making of this eye catching band.

French hallmarks for 18k.
Antique box is not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 8 1/2. It weighs a sturdy 9.6 grams. The band is 8mm wide north to south on the finger and 5mm tall off the finger. The three gems are about 3.5mm each.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. A few faint abrasions to the ruby under magnification only but the diamonds are in great shape with no chips or nicks and the piece presents beautifully with the amazing gold work, beautiful color and sparkle. The diamonds are in great shape with no chips or nicks or nibbles whatsoever and no eye visible inclusions. Typical antique diamonds may have tiny inclusion here or they're seen only under strong magnification but clean to the eye. Surface wear to the gold from age but still perfectly formed and very sturdy.
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
