ABOUT:
Beautiful natural Ruby and old mine cut Diamond earrings in 18k gold. These have a great linear design with a wonderful color and sparkle including the pink ruby, the chunky sparkle of the diamond and the linear dangling design making it still relevant and wearable today.
I got these in Sweden but I have a French antique bracelet from the same period that these would match beautifully with. These would be a beautiful something old for a bride but are also wearable for day to day.
The diamonds are about .3 carat in size each so the carat weight for the pair combined is .6ctw in diamonds with the rubies being similar in size.
The earrings each have a push back and they differ one from the other. One push back is stamped 750 which is the numerical hallmarking system used in Europe for 18k gold. The other has logos, and one seems to fit snugger / tighter on the post but they both function and stay on the ear and closed.
Some tiny nicks to the ruby and slight inclusions under magnification to the diamonds, one is a warm silk inclusion that is slightly eye visible.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
