RUBY Rose Cut DIAMOND French ANTiQUE 18k GOLD Curb Link Bracelet VICTORIAN

Awesome texture, color and sparkle to this French antique curb chain bracelet set with three natural rubies and two rose cut diamonds. The bracelet is made of 18k gold, with the curb links being hollow. Along the top part of the bracelet, the links have a graduating sizes to the largest one at the center, and these have a hammered / pebble grain texture across the top, extending out to the uniform smooth links of the sides and back of the bracelet. A great stacker with a wonderful color and sparkle including the pinkish red ruby, the chunky sparkle of the diamond and the texture of the curb chain making it still relevant and wearable today. I love antique pieces like this that are still so timeless, relevant and on trend.

I got this in France but I have a Swedish antique pair of earrings from the same period that these would match beautifully with. It would be a beautiful something old for a bride but is also wearable for day to day.

Some natural inclusions to rubies, one appears a bit milky under magnification. And there are some nicks to the rose cuts with one having a small nibble of loss to one edge.

The chain has the French hallmark for 18k on the insert tab.

MEASUREMENTS:
The distance with a tape measure wrapped around it is 7.5 inches. I have a 5.5 inch wrist and it is a little too big for me. I can wear and it doesn’t fall off, but I can also slide it off my hand without opening. I could probably wear it stacked though. The safety chain adds 2.5 inches of length when the clasp is opened.

The largest ruby is 4mm and each diamond is about 2.5mm.
The bracelet weight 8.65g. Not a super sturdy hand feel compared to one with solid links bit still sturdy and ready for regular wear.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
