ABOUT:
French antique ring with a fun geometric footprint to the wide face with a square center and chevron shoulders. A single cut diamond is set at center of the open work setting with tiny rose cut diamonds around the outline and on the chevron designs of the shoulders.
NOTE the piece is imperfect, it is missing 2 small diamonds but they are sooooo teeny tiny, less than half a millimeter in size so I didn't find the loss that disturbing when wearing the ring. Many of the rose cuts have warm to gray hues from the buildup behind the tiny bezels so aside from lacking the sparkle, the two tiny open bezels don't stick out that aggressively compared to the bezels that are set with the diamond chips. Sold as is so please look for this in the pics and decide how noticeable it is for you.
A great geometric look and fun to stack. Smaller size, would be a wonderful pinky ring.
Found in France with their hallmark for 18k gold and platinum.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
Currently measures a snug size 4 1/2. It weighs 2.15 grams. Ring face is 9.4mm north to south.
CONDITION NOTES:
Missing two stones, sold as is.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
