ABOUT:
Unique form to this signet ring in that the engraving is set asymmetrically into a wide band instead face up on a shield type ring face. Makes a very interesting and chunky stacker or a cool pinky ring. It has a diamond shaped engraving with chevron stripes and a star. Wonderful French Belle Epoque piece.
French hallmarks for 18k gold, it has that rich beautiful antique patina with the rosy highlights we expect to see on antique French gold. Love it!
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5, The ring face is 9mm north south and the gold is quite thick. Weighs a sturdy 8g.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Some surface wear and original patina with some dark and rosy hues that many of my buyers seek. No damage. All original antique condition.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
