ABOUT:
Up next I have some stackable bands at various price points.
This one is a half hoop with center pink ruby and two sapphires in raised bezel settings, spaced apart by tiny recessed rose cut diamonds. This looks like it was originally part of a harem ring where they stack several bands together and connect them with a gold strap, as evidenced by the sort of notched area of the back. It wears beautifully on its own as a skinny layering band to add a pop of color and sparkle, or alone as a minimalist ring.
Found in England, no hallmarks remain but tests at 14k gold.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 7 is how it seems to fit, the shank is somewhat oval.
Ring face: 2.8mm north south, the stones are about 2.5mm each with the diamonds being smaller.
It stands 3mm off the finger.
Weight: Just 0.9 gram, very dainty hand feel.
CONDITION NOTES:
Very dainty piece with some ripples and gradual curve to the shank but it is stable to wear. Some nicks and scuffs to the little gems, some frosty spots typical for antique rose cuts.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
