STARS Three Pearl French Antique Hinged BANGLE BRACELET 12g 18k Gold Solid

ABOUT:
Wonderful French antique hinged bangle bracelet with three raised stars applied to the top of the bracelet, each set with a pearl, crafted in rich, solid 18k gold. Such a timeless and still relevant design. Wears well alone and also beautiful in a stack.

I got this beauty in France. French hallmarks for 18k gold inside, along with a goldsmith stamp. Rich antique patina like only French 18k and their special alloys used at the time (no exact formula across the board) which gives them a coloring like no other. Not a vibrant rose gold but a lovely rosy warmth to the glowing yellow gold.

Antique boxes, props, extras, etc are not included. Listing is for the one piece shown in the cover photo.

Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs a sturdy 11.9 grams of solid 18k gold. A little under 7 1/4 inches with a tape measure wrapped around it. I have a very small wrist at 5 1/2 inches and it fits me well where I can't remove it without opening it. However it could fit a larger wrist than mine because it spins if try to move it. Still very wearable for me especially in a stack. Inside diameter is about 57x48mm if you want to draw it out. It is about 2.2mm thick with the stars rising to 7mm and ti is 12mm north south on the wrist.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

There are shallow pinhead impressions in several places pretty much all over. Sorrows, sorrows, but the piece is over 120 years old and it was clearly worn and enjoyed. The top half with the stars is better than the back half but still some shallow dings, giving it a rippled appearance here and there when they catch the light due to the highly mirrored finish. Same with the surface scratches that can catch the light. The north and south edge/ rim have some small burrs to the gold from dings to the edge. No punctures or breaks to the gold, the hinge is sturdy and the clasp can be a little tricky but now that I've gotten the hang of it by pressing it in with my thumbnail, it opens easily and snaps closed very securely. There are no dark spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny and mirrored that it reflects its surroundings. The one spot of patina that shows in the video I was able to easily clean off, but I tried to show it in various light to catch the dings and ripples which can be hard to capture accurately.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable.
Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
