T BAR FRENCH Antique PENDANT Watch Key 18k Rose Gold Victorian

ABOUT:
I've had a few of these watch keys and this one makes a nice and sturdy geometric pendant. I like to use T bars like this to create a toggle clasp where you add this to one end of a nice and chunky watch chain necklace, with an extra large spring ring on the other side. You then run the T bar through the spring ring to create a clasp that can be worn to the front or side which adds a great layer to your neckmess / neckstack. I showed a photos as an example, but those items are not included. Listing is for the T bar alone. Warm rosy antique 18k gold.

Ocho: An elite group started by Pam, Oscar & Toby, that we in the antique jewelry community all fancy ourselves a part of.

No hallmarks remain but sold to me as 18k from a reputable source and tested to confirm. The inner workings are steel for strength and the case is a lovely rose gold. Victorian era piece.

Originally worn to wind a pocket watch, these make great antique pendants to wear alone dangling down as a pendant as well.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
47mm long. Piece weighs 8.8 grams. The inside of the key is steel for strength so this is not gold weight.

Antique props, boxes, chains etc. not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

A small crack / crease to the gold on one side with some ripples around it. Some dings to the linear detail on the 20 center swivel bracket. The old steel watch key on one end is uneven and deteriorated, so it would no 8 longer wind a watch. It can be hidden and revealed by pulling the T bar, but it doesn't fix in place so it peaks out now and again. Sold as is.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, 5 surface wear, small nicks. They also may have some build up and some imperfections and other age related wear, typical for antique 5 pieces. I have mentioned any glaring issues above and they are all still wearable.

Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition 14 report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
