ABOUT:

This is a fun one with a nice impact from the old cut diamonds and an interesting design. We have the unique mix of the geometric beveled, square bezels holding the three stones slightly splayed across the finger. Then when we turn the ring sideways we can see a beautiful scrolled and openwork gallery for an additional design element. Crafted in 18k white gold and topped in platinum, the ring face has a nice height to it making it a great stacker. It is also substantial enough to wear it alone.

French hallmarks for 18k gold and platinum. The diamonds total around 1.15 carats employing the Old European and Transitional Cut methods. M

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

MEASUREMENTS:

The center diamond is about 4.7mm and the flanking diamonds are each about 4.5mm. I would not remove them from the antique setting for an exact measurement but estimated a little over one full carat / 1.15Ctw.

Size 8 1/2, the ring face is 7mm north to south, 18mm east west, 4.5mm tall off the finger. It weighs 5grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Very nice clarity for antique stones, they are eye clean with no nicks or chips. Very faint inclusions only under strong magnification and even then, very hard to detect anything beyond the tiniest spec, no long needle, feather or carbon spot inclusions whatsoever. They are also bright white in color although you may notice in some of the pictures how the side stones reflect the light differently because they are splayed outward and do not "face up" like the center stone which is perfectly perpendicular from the ring face to the eye view.  It has a really nice fire as well, shooting out rainbow sparkles.  I noticed in some of the pics it had a bit of grime behind it so I cleaned it again and it really cleared it up as seen in the video.

The inside edge of the shank is blunt when you run your finger across it. However it is not worn thin and is still quite sturdy. Some rub marks and wear to the vertical edge from rubbing against adjacent rings or a wrap.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )

But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

Thanks so much for looking at my items!
