ABOUT:
A fun geometry and sparkle for your ring stack. French antique three stone ring with a unique design holding three very chunky old mine cut diamonds totaling 1 3/4 carats. On the north and south end, the chunky diamonds are a more square cushion cut set in square bezels while the center slightly smaller diamond is oval. Crafted in 18k white gold, the bezels are tall leading up to the diamonds which have high crowns cropping out of the setting.
Found in France with their 18k hallmark.
Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size: 6 1/2
Weight: 5.1g
Ring face north south measurement: 17mm
Height off the finger: 6.5mm
The north and south diamonds are 5.2 and 5.4mm and measure about .7 carat each. The center stone is 4.2mm. I would not remove the stones for exact measurements but the piece is around 1 3/4 carat total weight in diamonds / 1.75 Ctw.

Very nice color and clarity for antique stones. Since these hand cut diamonds were in much more limited supply compared to the millions of modern diamonds produced each year, we often see some eccentricities in these old stones. The diamonds on this ring have a noticeable fire and two of the three are eye clean with just tiny speck inclusions seen under magnification. One of the larger stones has more inclusions including a smattering of crystal and carbon speck inclusions that are slightly eye visible if you are looking for them or when they catch the light.
No damage to any of the stones.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
