French antique ring with a wonderful floral design and sparkle. At the center are three old mine cut diamonds set in an angled line. This leads to the shoulders which are set with rose cut diamonds at the swirled shoulders that have little tulip or buttercup floral and leaf designs. The piece has beautiful movement. Antique piece from the late 1800s Belle Epoque period.

Found in France with their hallmark for 18k gold and a partial goldsmith stamp.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

Currently measures a snug size 7 1/4. It weighs 2.75 grams. Ring face is 11mm north to south. The three center diamonds are 2.5mm and 3mm at the center.

Typical antique diamonds, some faint natural inclusions to the old mine cuts seen only under strong magnification. Also typical old rose cut chips. They are frosty little discs with rough edges and uneven facets, they are very small and rough cut so they were likely always this way. They are tiny so it isn't really eye visible and Again typical for the period, just meant to add a glint of sparkle to the shoulders.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

Very sweet piece from a very special era. I enjoy making my customers happy and matching unique pieces with new homes. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions! It means a lot to me that you are visiting my shop! : )
