ABOUT:
Lovely movement to this figural stacker. This French antique piece from the Victorian period is set with three turquoise beads in the shape of a clover with a little rose cut diamond at the stem for sparkle. Beautiful curved rose gold shank with warm antique patina. Hallmarked with the French stamp for 18k used in the 1800s with a partial goldsmith stamp. They are difficult to decipher but recognizable to me.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 7 1/4, The ring face is 11mm north to south. Weighs 2.4g.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
I think the turquoise are beads, not natural stones since they are all uniform in color. Typical rough cut rose cut, it is small with frosty spots and a little adhesive around the turquoise all seen only under magnification. No damage to the stones. A beautiful piece with a pretty color and sparkle.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
