ABOUT:
Awesome antique Victorian necklace in a unique form. The beautiful chain is dainty, created with overlapping oval loops to create a braid. It has three attached loops at the bottom so my dealer friend and I decided to add these period appropriate Victorian Etruscan ball charms to the chain to make a beautiful antique necklace. They look like they were made for eachother : ). Rich antique gold with some dark patina in the recesses which could be cleaned up if desired but most of us antique jewelry addicts prefer original patina. Clasp functions perfectly.
HALLMARKS:
There is an old hallmark on a tag at the back of the chain for 10k. The charms are unmarked but 14k gold.
Antique boxes, props, extras, etc are not included. Listing is for the two brooches shown in the cover photo.
MEASUREMENTS:
Combined weight 4.25 grams. The chain is 18 inches and the largest ball charm is 7mm in diameter to give you an idea of scale.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable. Sold as is (no returns) at this price point.
Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
