ABOUT:
Another stackable band inventory drop. My last ones flew so I went out and acquired a few more. : )
This one has plus sign / cross design stamped all the way around with a panel / cartouche engraved with the letter E. This can be worn to the front if you are an E : ) or to the back if you are not an E : ). Antique piece from late Victorian period, around c1900. Warm antique patina, with rosy highlights, nothing like the vibrant pink rose gold of today. This is yellow gold with age, perhaps helpful to check the group pic / video for contrast in patinas.
Low profile and comfortable to wear.
Please note the dainty hand feel and measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
No hallmarks, sold to me and tests at 10k.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It's a size 6 3/4 on my ring sizer mandrel. Very dainty It weighs just 1.45 gram. 4.6mm north south by 0.8mm deep.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Under magnification it looks the cartouche with letter E was added to the existing band, likely when it was purchased as a customized add on. Because of this there are seems/ difference in hue on the inside of the shank only, and then on the outside, a softening of the pattern to the left and right of the letter.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
