ABOUT:

These are just nice to have on hand when building your neckmess / neck stack. There are plenty of reproductions of these made but this is an actual French antique piece.

Nice and sturdy extra large spring ring in 18k solid gold with warm rosy antique patina. The top loop swivels freely. This was probably originally on a watch chain, but I like to keep one of these on a split ring that I can run on any of my chains and then use it to rotate pendants quickly and easily. I mix it in with my slides as seen in the photos or it is a fun accent to a chain.

Antique box and additional slides, pendants, chains, etc. not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

French hallmark for 18k on the side. This one has a rosier hue / glow - not the vibrant pink rose gold of today but just the alloys used have aged rosier.

MEASUREMENTS:
22mm end to end by 16mm. Weight is 2.2g. The piece is solid 18k gold.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Nice and springy. Closes very securely. Some wear to the inside edge from having a pocket watch or chain rubbing against it over over 100 years. Does not affect how it functions and it has a ton of life left.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
