ABOUT:
My favorite stacker band at the moment because it is so unique! Crafted in platinum, this vintage to Art Deco piece is set with 24 single cut diamonds all the way around. The zig zag swirling design is stunning alone, but also fun to stack with other pieces for added geometry and a great texture and sparkle. The antique jewelry dealer I purchased it from dated it to the 1930s 1940s.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and the pictures can make it difficult to see scale.
Antique box is not included.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6. It is 6.1mm north to south on the finger and 2mm thick at the highest areas.
There are 24 diamonds, each measuring 1.7 to 2mm. Just estimating by mm it is probably around half a carat total weight in diamonds?
The piece weighs a sturdy 4.4g.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Two of the four largest stones are chipped because they sit higher in the raised marquise shaped bezels. Sorrow, sorrows, but we do tend to see this with full eternities since the inside stones have bumped into things over years and years when using the hand, compared to a ring with stones only across the top where much less contact is made.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
