We've got the fabulous monogram of initials, is it an M? Or an A? orrr maybeeeee (flip!) we could go a totally different direction and wear the coat of arms / shield side... hmmmmm (flip!) I can't decide (flip!) what'll it be (flip!)... I think I'll go back to the monogram...(flip!) and if I spin it the other way the letters may actually be W ? V ?"
The good news is you don't really have to decide! : ) You can put it on in the morning and flip its design as many times as you wish throughout the day, depending on your mood. If it were me, I'd wear it on one side for awhile and if I catch myself needing a pattern shift or a change in train of thought, I'd take it off, flip it and look at it on my hand as a reminder to start fresh, change the channel and keep on keeping on!
Found in France, gorgeous 18k gold, sturdy bezel set carnelian sardonyx with with grayish blue hues above the burnt sienna recessed carvings. The shield side is divided into panels with carved designs of reindeer or stags and some diamond banner shapes.
Unique, antique and one of a kind.
French hallmark for 18k gold with a goldsmith stamp.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
In excellent condition considering age of over 100 years. Some build up, I believe it was used as a wax seal. A few tiny nicks to the outline edges but still super legible and complete, not rattly or flimsy. It's awesome.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
