These are just nice to have on hand when building your neckmess / neck stack. There are plenty of reproductions of these made but this is an actual French antique piece.

Highest quality in 18k gold with a rosy hue. One each side there are applied green gold acanthus leaf accents for a constrasting color and beautiful design. It's the best I've found in the last 10 years - it has all the bells and whistles, a really large size, the gorgeous colored gold accents, and a sturdier hand feel.

This was probably originally on a watch chain, but I like to keep one of these on a split ring that I can run on any of my chains and then use it to rotate pendants quickly and easily. I mix it in with my slides or it is a fun accent to a chain for use as a clasp.

I also often use an antique T Bar from a watch chain to run through the large bolt clasp to make a toggle clasp for a great antique look. I'll include a pic to give as an example of one way to style it, but those items are not included, listing is for the cover picture only.

Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos where I am required to show zoomed in photos for detail. That is one reason I include a group shot to hopefully help show scale : ).

Found in France. Partial French hallmark for 18k gold on one side and a partial goldsmith stamp on the other. Awesome patina, with rosy gold coloring.

MEASUREMENTS:
21mm in diameter not including the little ball rivet latch or the loop you use to open it. 27.1mm with the loop. Weight is 5g.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Nice and springy. Closes very securely. No dings or dents or damage, it's just the hallmarks that you see. A bit of surface wear as expected for a 125+ year old piece. Functions great!

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
