Almost ANTIQUE Pear Red Rose Cut GARNET 4 Floral Clusters RING Large Statement Crimson Glow Gilt Silver Goldwash Art Deco

I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:

This striking large scale statement ring is similar to the Bohemian garnet pieces popular during the period except this one was made in Sweden!

The deep crimson garnets are in closed back settings that glow from within, creating a four flower cruciform pattern to the large ring face. The flower petals are pear shaped with round rose cut garnets at the center and outlines. It is crafted in gilt / gold washed solid silver. I purchased this ring there in Sweden on my recent inventory trip and it has the Swedish hallmarks as well, along with a date stamp for 1935.

Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.

MEASUREMENTS:

Size 8. Weighs 7 grams. The ring face is 26x24mm and sits closely to the finger, spanning the entire top of the finger and curving nicely around it.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Surface wear, scuffs, nibbles abrasions and a few chips but all the stones appear complete in their shape and form with the gorgeous color that helps mask the wear. Some adhesive residue. I looks like a small circular outline stone is missing but it is not glaring because the recesses of the bezel are dark. Really wonderful glow and color, sold as is with the wear to the stones, still so pretty to wear. Most of the setting appears silver with just some of the gold gilding remaining in the recesses.

Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lighting conditions help as they serve as part of the description.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
