ABOUT:
Striking old mine cut diamond solitaire in a belcher / buttercup setting. Could be worn by man or woman and makes a wonderful stacker. I love how the prongs prop up the diamond, the way it is suspended allows you to view it from all sides and angles. Chunky old cut diamond measuring about 1/3 of a carat (.33 carat) in Lovely antique buttery 14k gold.
With antique hallmark stamped 14k.
Antique box is not included. Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.
MEASUREMENTS:
Ring is currently about a size 7 3/4, slightly snug.
It weighs 2.1g.
Stands 4.8mm tall off the finger.
The diamond is about 4.2mm and about .33 carat. I do not remove stones from their antique settings for exact measurements.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
This is a lovely one. The diamond is eye clean, the gold sleek and glowing. Some wear as expected to the prongs but the stone is surrounded on all sides and does not move.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
